2ND PHASE NG PEDIA VACCINATION UMARANGKADA

NAGSIMULA na nitong Sabado ang 2nd phase ng bakunahan para sa 12-17 age group na may ‘comorbidities’ sa buong Metro Manila.

Sinabi ng Department of Health (DOH), isinasagawa ang Phase II ng Pediatric A3 COVID-19 vaccination sa mga piling pagamutan pa lamang sa Metro Manila dahil sa magiging payugto-yugto ang pagpapatupad nito.

Namili ang DOH, National Vaccine Operations Center (NVOC), at mga lokal na pamahalaan ng Metro Manila ng mga pagamutan o vaccination sites na may kapasidad nang agarang pagresponde sakaling magkaroon ng ‘adverse reactions’ o ‘side effects’ sa bakuna ang mga bata na may problema sa kalusugan.

“As with the vaccination process of the adults, the vaccination for children will be closely monitored to detect adverse events following immunization to ensure the safety of our young vaccine recipients,” ayon kay Health Undersecretary Tong-An sa ceremonial vaccination sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center.

Para sa Phase II, kasama ang dating walong pagamutan ay idinagdag ang: Caloocan City Medical Center (North at South), Ospital ng Malabon, Navotas City Hospital, Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital, Marikina Sports Complex (malapit sa Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center), Quezon City General Hospital, St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City, Ospital ng Maynila, Ospital ng Makati, SM Megamall Mega Vaccination Site (malapit sa Mandaluyong City Medical Center), Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Ospital ng Muntinlupa, Ospital ng Parañaque 1, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, at Pasay City General Hospital.

Tatanggap din ang St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City ng mga magpapabakuna mula sa bayan ng Pateros.

Inamin ng DOH na nagresulta ang lockdown sa paghinto ng pag-unlad bilang tao ng mga bata na napuwersang manatili na lamang sa bahay. Sa pagpapabakuna, inaasahan na makatutulong ito sa kanilang pagdebelop lalo na at hindi pa rin nag-uumpisa ang ‘face-to-face learning’.
