Sa ginawang physical examination ni Customs Examiner Marc Henry Tan kasama ang mga miyembro ng Department of Agriculture Compliance and Regulatory Enforcement for Security and Trade Office (CRESTO), Bureau of Plants Industry at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency nitong Disyembre 19, natuklasan na lima sa sampung containers ay naglalaman ng misdeclared ‘goods of glutinous rice’ o super malagkit.
Nagpalabas ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention sa buong shipment para sa intentional misdeclaration kaugnay sa Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
