BBM: A vote for us is a vote for unified, more progressive PH

Presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. on Thursday urged all voters throughout the country to exercise their rights and vote on May 9.

BBM made the call during the second miting de avance of UniTeam held in Tagum, Davao del Norte.

In his speech, Marcos, who is number 7 in Comelec official ballot, said a vote for him and his running mate Mayor Inday Sara Duterte, is a vote for a unified and more progressive Philippines which suffered, and still recovering from economic crisis due to the pandemic.

Marcos said it is one’s responsibility to vote in order to elect the one they think can help and serve the country.

The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer, who is bringing the message of unity since he announced his intent to run, said if they will be elected, the whole UniTeam will work hard to continue the unity movement which was formed by the people during the campaign.

UniTeam supporters again showed their strength as thousands went to the City Hall Grounds despite heavy downpour before the start of the event to personally see Marcos and Duterte as they wrapped up their 90-day campaign with three miting de avance in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, which started in Guimbal, Iloilo last May 3.

Marcos remained grateful for the people’s support which he saw since the day one of the campaign.

Joining them in the event were Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Atty. Larry Gadon, Harry Roque, Gibo Teodoro, Robin Padilla, Jinggoy Estrada, Mark Villar and Migz Zubiri.

Local officials from different parts of Mindanao also joined in the UniTeam’s miting de avance.

Prior to the event, Marcos had a short meeting with Hugpong ng Pagbabago candidates in the province led by vice governor Rey Uy.

Also, Sagip Partylist representative Dante Marcoleta was present in the rally.

BBM and Sara together with their senatorial bets, will end their scheduled three-leg miting de avance on May 7 in Parañaque City.
