HINAMON ni Former Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Atty. Salvador Panelo si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na kondenahin ang marahas na pagsalakay ng mga tauhan ng pulisya sa mga compound ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) kamakalawa.

Ani Panelo, hindi dapat kunsintihin ng Pangulo ang aksyon ng PNP dahil makasisira ito sa kanya.

“I’m going to call out this kind president. Will you allow these kind of abuses under your administration? It seems very difficult to defend you Mr. President if you are like that,” ani Panelo sa kanyang programa sa SMNI.

Nagpapatunay rin aniya ito na hindi sinusunod ng kanyang mga tauhan si Marcos.

“What that means is your people are not following you,” ani Atty. Panelo.

Pinuna rin niya ang pagkakamali ng PNP.

“But this PNP, you know your law because that’s your job. You’re not implementing it correctly. What you did can damage President Marcos Jr.”

“According to the law, serving the warrant [of arrest] should be done properly and the time must be reasonable. Early hours in the morning – 4 o’clock? Unless there is criminal activity, that’s allowed. But they were praying…And they have also done that before so why are they changing the process?” paliwanag pa ni Panelo.

‘Overkill’

Para naman kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, hindi katanggap-tanggap ang pagkilos ng kapulisan sa pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant laban kay Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sa lugar dalanginan at paaralan.

“Will this overkill be the trademark of this administration when dealing with individuals who are merely accused of committing a crime and have not been proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt?”

Aniya, ganito rin ba ang magiging trato ng Marcos administration sa kanilang mga tagasuporta?

“How can this administration guarantee the preservation of the constitutional rights of our fellow Filipinos when even the most fundamental of these rights are being trampled upon and blatantly violated?” tanong ng dating Pangulo.

Nitong Lunes ng madaling araw, mahigit 100 pulis mula sa iba’t ibang unit ng PNP kabilang ang mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Special Action Force (SAF) at mga tropa ng militar ang sumugod sa compound ng KOJC sa Barangay Sasa, Buhangin district, Davao City, para isilbi umano ang warrant of arrest laban sa nagtatagong si Apollo Quiboloy.

Pinasok din ng CIDG at PNP SAF ang compound ng Glory Mountain sa Tamayong, sa Calinan District, Davao City at maging ang QSands Baptismal Resort sa Island Garden City ng Samal, at ang Kitbog Compound sa Malungon, Sarangani Province.

Si Quiboloy ay inisyuhan ng arrest warrant ng Pasig Regional Trial Court sa kasong Qualified Human Trafficking na walang inirekomendang piyansa bukod sa paglabag sa Section 5 sa Republic Act (RA) 7619 o Special Protection of Children Against Abuse na inilipat sa Quezon City Regional Trial Court mula sa Davao City Regional Trial Court.

Nahaharap din siya sa iba’t ibang kaso sa Estados Unidos kaya napabilang sa top wanted list ng Federal Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
