NAGSAGAWA ng makabuluhang hakbang patungo sa pagpapahusay ng pagtutulungan sina Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cebu District Collector Atty. Ricardo Uy Morales II, CESE, at P/Col. Marlon R. Santos, Regional Chief ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit (RFU) 7, noong Oktubre 26, 2023.
Ang nasabing pulong ay nakasentro sa pagpapalakas ng kanilang pagtutulungan at pagpapahusay ng kanilang border security measures.
Layunin din nito ang pinalakas na pagtutulungan sa pagtugon sa mga isyu na may kaugnayan sa pagsunod sa mga batas at regulasyon ng customs.
Tinalakay rin nila ang ‘sharing of intelligence, joint operations, and the exchange of information vital for preventing illicit activities’ sa Port of Cebu.
Binigyan-diin ni District Collector Atty. Morales II ang kahalagahan ng malakas na pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng Port of Cebu at CIDG RFU. 7.
Kaugnay nito, sina District Collector Atty. Morales II at P/Col. Santos ay nagpahayag ng kanilang pangako sa pagpapahusay ng koordinasyon at intelligence sharing para labanan ang illegal activities na nagkokompromiso sa integridad ng port at kanilang mga operasyon.

We are dedicated to ensuring the integrity of our borders and preventing illegal activities.
