TUMATAGINTING na P80.133 bilyon ang naisampang pondo sa gobyerno ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) para lang sa buwan ng Marso ng kasalukuyang taon.
Sa datos ng BOC Financial Service Office, sobra pa ng P7.851 bilyon (katumbas ng 10.86%) ang nakalap na pondo kumpara sa P72.282 target collection.
Para kay Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, higit na kailangan ipagpatuloy ang sigasig ng kawanihan bilang ambag sa agresibong programa ng administrasyong Marcos — partikular sa mga programa at proyektong akma sa layunin ng pamahalaan na ibangon ang ekonomiyang inilugmok ng pandemya sa nakalipas na tatlong taon.
“I am extremely proud of the men and women of the BOC for their dedication and hard work, and this remarkable achievement is a testament to their unwavering commitment to public service and the successful implementation of our priority programs,” said Commissioner Rubio.
“We will continue to push for reforms in the bureau to ensure that we are providing the best service to the Filipino people and contributing to the country’s economic recovery.”
