KOREAN TEACHER SA FRAUD, ARESTADO NG BI

HIMAS- rehas ngayon ang isang Korean national na wanted sa kanilang bansa  matapos itong maaresto ng Bureau of Immigration(BI) sa Malvar Street, Malate, Manila, nitong Martes.

Ayon sa ulat ni BI intelligence officer Bobby Raquepo, hepe ng fugitive search unit (FSU), kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, kinilala ang suspek na si Kim Sang Wook, 49, sangkot sa kasong swindling na 100 million won.

Nag-ugat ang pag-aresto sa suspek matapos mag-isyu ng mission order si Morente sa mga operatiba ng FSU at makipag-ugnayan sa Korean embassy na nakabase sa Manila matapos maglabas ng arrest warrant ang Korean court laban kay Kim na subject din ng red notice ng Interpol.

Base rekord ng BI, dumating ang suspek noong February 2015 gamit ang isang tourist visa at hindi na umalis pa sa bansa.

“Kim was reportedly found defrauding his victims six times by deceiving and promising his victims’ sons that they could be employed as teachers, Kim was a teacher wanted for swindling his victims of 100 million won,” ani Raquepo.
