AAPELA ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na irekonsidera ang kautusan na suspendihin ang operasyon sa mga PCSO games.

Sinabi ng PCSO na handa silang tumalima sa anumang kautusan ng Pangulo.

“Pursuant to the order of the President suspending PCSO’s gaming activities, the PCSO board directs compliance to said instruction until further notice,” sinabi ng PCSO.

Kabilang sa PCSO operations ang lotto, Peryahan ng Bayan, small town lottery (STL), at Keno.

Nakikinabang ang ilang kababayan sa medical assistance at calamity aid mula dito.

“Rest assured that the PCSO shall appeal to the Office of the President for the resumption of the conduct of all games to PCSO’s mandate and for the interest of the PCSO, its agents and its beneficiaries,” sinabi nito.

Pinayuhan naman nito ang may mga tickets na hawakan na muna ito habang mayroon pang suspension order.

“To our valued customers, please be advised that our PCSO games are suspended pursuant to the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. All players with advance play tickets are advised to keep their tickets until further notice,” sinabi nito.

Ngayon Biyernes, sinuspinde ni Duterte ang PCSO gaming schemes dahil sa umanoy “massive corruption.”
