TRAVEL BAN SA OMAN, UAE HANGGANG MAY 31

INANUNSYO ng Malakanyang na bawal pumasok sa bansa ang lahat ng mga byahero na magmumula sa Oman at United Arab Emirates (UAE) o iyong may travel history sa dalawang bansa sa loob ng 14 na araw na nauna nang dumating simula “0001H of May 15, 2021 until 2359H of May 31, 2021” sa rekomendasyon na rin ng Department of Health at Department of Foreign Affairs.

“Passengers already in transit from the abovementioned countries and all those who have been to the same within 14 days immediately preceding arrival to the Philippines, who arrive before 0001H of May 15, 2021, shall not be subject to the above restriction, but shall nevertheless be required to undergo stricter quarantine and testing protocols, i.e. the observation of a fourteen-day facility-based quarantine period upon arrival, notwithstanding a negative Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) result,” ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

Samantala, ang lahat ng umiiral na travel restrictions sa mga pasahero na magmumula sa India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh at Sri Lanka ay extended hanggang 2359H ng Mayo 31, 2021.

Kailangan namang tiyakin ng Department of Transportation na ang lahat ng airlines ay nabigyan ng direktiba na huwag payagan ang boarding of passengers na bawal pumasok sa bansa alinsunod sa travel restrictions na ipinataw ng Office of the President at IATF resolutions maliban na lamang kung bahagi ang mga ito ng repatriation efforts ng national government.
