‘WPS IS OURS PERO…’

NILINAW ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang State of the Nation Address (SONA) na pag-aari ng Pilipinas ang West Philippine Sea taliwas sa paniniwala ng marami na isinuko na niya ito sa China.

“West Philippine  Sea… It is ours… But we have to temperate with the times and with the realities we face today,” ani Duterte.

The arbitral [ruling] even states PH may even enter into fishing agreement with other states. Our ownership of the West PH Sea is internationally recongized. But UNCLOS and the arbitral award in case of Rep of PH vs China recognizes instances when other state may utilize the resources found within the coastal states’ EEZ,” ani Duterte.

“There is a time for everything: a time to negotiate and a time to quarrel – with your enemy, with your political opponents, with your wife… and a time to make peace, and a time to go to war, and a time to die,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
