SUPORTADO ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang pagsisikap ng South Korea para sa denuclearization ng Korean Peninsula.

Nagpahayag naman siya ng pangamba sa patuloy na missile testing ng North Korea.

“This is of great concern and we are fully supportive of the Republic of Korea in all your efforts to denuclearize North Korea,” ang naging pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos sa idinaos na bilateral meeting kasama si South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol sa Sokha Hotel sa Phnom Penh, Cambodia sa sidelines ng  40th at 41st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, ayon sa Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).

“The Philippines is one with you on that and we will do what we can to assist South Korea in that effort,” dagdag na pahayag ng Pangulo.

Araw ng Sabado, kapuwa sumang-ayon ang Pilipinas at  South Korea  na itaas ang  kanilang bilateral relations sa  isang strategic partnership, partikular na sa larangan ng seguridad, imprastraktura, enerhiya at people-to-people exchanges. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
