PACC NAGBABALA

FOR THE FLAG

“We call on local chief executives or local government units (LGUs) to adjust and streamline their processes in accordance with the Ease of Doing Business and Delivery of Government Service Act of 2018, especially now that the Implementing Rules and Regulations had been approved,” pahayag ni Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission Commissioner (PACC) Manny Luna.

“Despite the passage of the law and the issuance of the IRR, my office  has been receiving reports that some LGUs, especially municipalities, have yet to comply with RA 11032 or the ‘Ease of Doing Business Law,’ and a number of them happen to be in the Visayas and Mindanao,” pahayag pa ni Luna.

“As Commissioner In-charge of the Visayas and Mindanao and as Member In-charge of the Monitoring and Technical Service of the PACC, I will do everything within my authority to ensure that not a single LGU will be left behind in terms of compliance with the Ease of Doing Business Law, and that those found to be wanting will be investigated pursuant to our mandate under EO 43, s. 2017, as amended by EO 73, s. 2018.”

(For the Flag / ED CORDEVILLA)
