AirAsia Philippines boosts manpower to support strong travel demand beginning this summer

Manila, 2 March 2023 – AirAsia Philippines is boosting its operations by hiring more pilots, cabin, ground, and technical crew to support the steady growth in flight bookings in line with the upcoming summer season, signifying the airline’s path to recovery.

Last year, AirAsia Philippines hired 600 new flight and ground crew amid headwinds. For the first two months of 2023, the airline has already processed an initial 260 new hires and is continuously boosting its headcount to meet growing demands.
