IKALAWANG sunod na panalo ang target ng Barangay Ginebra laban sa Bay Area sa Game 2 ng best-of-seven finals series ng PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Ganap na 5:45 ng hapon ngayon (Miyerkoles) nakatakda ang sagupaan ng Gin Kings at Dragons sa Araneta Coliseum.

Tinibag ng Gin Kings ang No. 1 team sa elimination round sa Game 1 sa araw mismo ng Pasko sa iskor na 96-81, sa harap ng naghihiyawang 18,252 fans sa MOA Arena.

Muling sasandalan ni Ginebra coach Tim Cone si resident import Justin Brownlee, maging sina LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson, Christian Standhardinger at Jamie Malonzo na malaki ang naiambag sa panalo ng koponan noong Linggo.

Hangad ni Cone ang ika-25 titulo sa PBA, habang u­nang kampeonato para sa Bay Area ang asam ni coach Brian ­Goorjian, na coach ng Team Australia na nag-bronze medal finish sa Tokyo Olympics.

Tinutukoy ni Montecillo si ­second import Andrew Nicholson, na ayon sa socmed fake news ay may sakit kaya kwestyonable sa Game 2. “After loss to Ginebra in Game 1 of the PBA Finals, Bay Area Dragons import Andrew Nicholson says he might not play in Game 2 because of illness.”

Tiniyak ng Dragons, maglalaro ang dating NBA first round draft pick na si Nicholson at pipilitin maitabla ang serye kontra Gin Kings.
