“JUSTICE for Director Pulhin is finally within reach—and we will see it through”.

Ito ang panayag ni Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez kahapon matapos masakote ng National Capital Region Police Office ang suspek sa pagpatay sa Technical Staff Chief ng House Committee on Ways and Means na si Director Mauricio “Morie” Pulhin.

Base sa natanggap na report ni Romualdez sa NCRPO, nadakip sa isang entrapment operation ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang hindi pinangalanang suspek sa pagpatay kay Pulhin, na nahulihan ng baril, granada at iba’t ibang uri ng ID.

Magugunitang noong Hunyo 15, pinatay si Pulhin sa isang subdivision sa Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City habang abala ito sa 7th birthday party ng kanyang anak na babae.

“This arrest is a vital breakthrough in our pursuit of truth and accountability. I commend the Quezon City Police District and all law enforcement units involved for their swift, coordinated, and professional efforts that led to the capture of the suspect. Their dedication reinforces our confidence in the rule of law,” ani Romualdez.
