“On the part of the Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu, I give my assurance that our people and electronic portals are ready and able to handle the increase of volume, and faster flow of goods which we anticipate with the opening of this Finger Pier. The Bureau of Customs also makes sure that we constantly enhance our risk management and trade facilitation capacity so that those dreaded delays in shipments due to customs regulations are kept to a minimum, without compromising trade security and revenue collection. For national development, we are all in this together, fingers of the same hand. And so it must be, we all work for it ,” ayon kay Mendoza.
