KINUMPIRMA ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) na nadakip ng mga awtoridad ang apat na hinihinalang real estate scammers sa Cavite.

Katuwang ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), nahuli ng DHSUD ang mga kolorum na real estate broker/seller sa entrapment operation sa Barangay Sucat, Alfonso, Cavite.

Kinilala ang mga ito na sina Joana Marie Cruzada at Joana Marie Viray mula sa Alfonso, Cavite; Felmarich Dagohoy ng Taguig City, at Jovannie Cruz ng Angat, Bulacan.

Ayon sa DHSUD, ang mga suspek ay konektado sa pagbebenta ng properties sa Alta Vista kahit wala silang ‘certificate of registration’ at ‘license to sell’ mula sa ahensya.

Nagpapakilala rin umano ang mga suspek bilang mga miyembro ng 1Premier Land Marketing Company, sinasabing marketing arm ng developer ng Alta Vista, ngunit napag-alaman na hindi pala rehistrado ang nasabing kumpanya sa DHSUD.

“This is a big blow to real estate scammers, who prey on unsuspecting home buyers, and a huge boost to DHSUD’s ongoing intensified campaign against unscrupulous individuals operating in the real estate industry,” ani Secretary Eduardo Del Rosario.

Sinabi ng DHSUD secretary na ang ikinasang operasyon ay magsisilbing paalala na hindi titigil ang ahensya na protektahan ang publiko mula sa mga scammer.

“It shall serve as a stern warning to all. DHSUD, along with our partner-law enforcement agencies like the NBI, means business in our drive against scammers and we are committed in protecting the public from these sinister activities,” dagdag pa ni Del Rosario. (JESSE KABEL)
