INAASAHANG higit na huhusay ang operasyon ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic (BOC – Subic) dahil pasok na ito sa Terminal Operating System (TOS) ng Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation (SBITC).

Ang pagbigay ng SBITC ng TOS sa BOC – Subic ay bahagi ng ginagawang pagbabago sa operasyon ng huli upang tumugma sa “Bureau’s Performance Governance System (PGS) while intensifying its Border Protection”, paliwanag ng BOC.

Idiniin ng BOC na “another breakthrough result was achieved” nang magkaisa ang BOC – Subic at SBITC matapos maganap ang coordination meeting ng Multi Sector Advisory Council (MSAC) mula sa aksyon ni BOC – Subic District Collector Maritess T. Martin.

Sa pamamagitan ng SBITC’s TOS, magagawa ng BOC – Subic “to be able to personally trigger the stoppage of release from NCT of any shipment/s with BOC alert/ hold orders”.

Inaasahang magaganap din ang “timely and effectively execute their duties to protect the border from entry of unlawful, prohibited and antisocial goods, above-mentioned access shall definitely result to a more efficient security and will give the organizations an effective way to scrutinize inco­ming entries” mula sa pagkakaisa ng BOC – Subic at SBITC, paliwanag ng BOC.
