PINASARINGAN ni Davao City Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte ang Marcos Jr. administration na nananawagan aniya sa taumbayan para siya sagipin sa sariling kapalpakan. Binanggit ito ni Duterte sa kanyang pagbwelta kay Presidential Spokesperson Claire Castro.

Tinawag ng kongresista na ignorante sa kasaysayan si Castro matapos nitong sabihin na inutil ang nakaraang administrasyon pagdating sa agresyon ng China sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

“Before the Palace spokesperson lecture anyone about “being inutile” in defending our seas, she should first study the timeline and check the facts. Hindi pwedeng puro satsat lang sa camera, zero research,” ani Duterte.

Aniya, taliwas sa sinasabi ng Malacañang, may konkretong hakbang ang administrasyon ng kanyang amang si dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pagpapalakas ng depensa ng bansa.

“Do not disrespect a leader who actually delivered safety and stability for our citizens while you are busy crowdsourcing solutions for the economy. The Duterte administration faced challenges head-on — and most of all, it delivered,” giit ni Polong.

Hindi rin pinalampas ng mambabatas ang aniya’y pagpapasa ng kasalukuyang administrasyon ng sisi sa publiko.

“Your bangag administration, on the other hand, is asking the people to save the President from his own incompetence,” banat niya.

“We built strength. You built excuses.”

Depensa pa ng kongresista, hindi isinugal ni dating Pangulong Duterte ang buhay ng mga Pilipino para lamang hangaan ng ibang bansa.

“He refused to drag Filipinos into a war we cannot afford. He made sure Filipinos can live with dignity,” dagdag niya.
