PAGPASOK SA PINAS NG ILANG DAYUHAN APRUBADO

PINAPAYAGAN na ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang pagpasok sa Pilipinas ng foreign nationals o dayuhan na pinahintulutan sa ilalim ng nakalipas na IATF resolutions.

Sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, sa ilalim ng IATF Resolution No. 113, ang mga foreign national na ito ay “subject to conditions,” gaya ng kailangan na mayroon silang “valid at existing visa” sa oras ng kanilang pagpasok maliban na lamang sa mga kuwalipikado sa ilalim ng Balikbayan Program, sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 6768, o the Act Instituting the Balikbayan Program.

“These foreign nationals must likewise have a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven (7) nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or facility and they must subject to COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel/facility on the sixth (6th) day from the date of arrival. In addition, they are subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.

Ang travel restrictions, sa kabilang dako ay magpapatuloy sa mga taong manggagaling sa India o doon sa mga may travel history sa India, “as imposed by IATF Resolution No. 112.”

Upang matiyak ang maayos na implementasyon, inatasan ang Bureau of Immigration na bumalangkas ng kinakailangang alituntunin. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
