PRAY! There’s a lot of thought about prayer. Today, we will just discuss a fraction of it.
Sometimes it’s only when we reach the end of the roof that we turn to God in prayer.
I heard this, “Seven days without prayer makes one weak.” So, we need to pray. Don’t just pray; pray persistently.
St Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, “Pray without ceasing,” (see I Thessalonians 5:17). “You do not have because you ask not God” (James 4:3). Matthew 7:7, our Lord Jesus tells us, “Keep on asking (praying), and it will be given to you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and the door will be open to you.”
Remember also prophet Jeremiah said that almighty God promised, “When you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him” (Jer. 29:13). More often, kapag hindi sinagot ang ating prayer instantly, we give up. Maraming pagkakataong sinabi sa scriptures “Wait on God.”
Bakit? Habang tayo ay naghihintay ng kasagutan, our loving Father is working! In such times, tayo ay itinutuwid sa ating mga desires and attitudes or directing us toward His will. Give it all to God as you pray. Don’t give up! Pray! Pray! Pray!
Alalahanin ang acronym na PUSH; Pray Until Something Happen! Don’t forget to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior in your life. (giv777@myyahoo.com)
