SASABAK na si former 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao sa exhibition match, gaya ng retirado na rin na si Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Nabatid na sa susunod na linggo ay magpipirmahan na ng kontrata sina Pacquiao at South Korean martial arts instructor DK Yoo para sa exhibition match nila na gaganapin sa Disyembre 2022.
“I have told you I’ll fight against one of the best fighters in the world. I tell you right now who my next opponent. I’m going to fight against Manny Pacquiao,” pahayag ni Yoo.
Sa kanyang website ay ipinagmalaki ng Koreano na siya ay “experienced in various types of martial arts including boxing, kung fu, wushu, judo.”
Ngunit sa huling exhibition fight ay binugbog siya sa anim na rounds ni dating UFC fighter Bradley Scott.
Samantala, sa Youtube video ni Yoo ay ipinakita niya ang mensahe sa kanya ni Pacquiao. “DK Yoo, see you in the special event this coming December. God bless you and be safe.”
Matatandaang nagretiro sa boksing ang former 8-division champion matapos maagaw ang kanyang WBA welterweight title ni Cuba’s Yordenis Ugas noong Setyembre 2021.
