PARA sa Pinay basketball star na si Jack Animam, malaki ang naitulong sa kanyang karera ng paglalaro sa Amerika.
Katunayan, ito ang naging daan upang madiskubre siya ng Serbian team Radnicki Kragujevac.
Naglaro si Animam para sa Zone 6 Celtics sa Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL). Dito ay pinarangalan siya bilang Rising Star at napabilang sa AEBL Women’s First Team.
“Playing in the AEBL was really a good experience and good exposure for me. Seeing those WNBA players that I just got to see on TV, on Instagram, but now I’m seeing them in the flesh, in front of me,” pahayag ni Animam sa Post-Game podcast.
“And to be able to play against them, I feel so honored, and I’m just so happy that I got to be in this league, battling against the best of the best learning from them. It’s really amazing,” dagdag niya.
Ang 6-foot-5 Pinay big ay nasa Serbia na ngayon at inaasahang magpapakitang gilas bilang import ng koponang Radnicki Kragujevac sa Serbia 2020-21 First Women’s Basketball League.
