KUNG nais na matiyak ng pamahalaan na maiwasan ang pagdami ng bilang ng mga tinatamaan ng

COVID-19 sa mga lalawigan ay dapat na isailalim sa libreng swab test ang locally stranded

individual (LSIs).

Ito ang payo ni Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) bilang

tugon sa patuloy na pagdami ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa iba’t ibang probinsya dahil sa pag-uwi ng LSIs.

“So, virus won’t hitchhike to provinces, swab test ‘Very Important Passengers’ for free. Let us also

swab-test the other, more important VIPs – the Very Important Pasaheros,” aniya pa.

“If we have tested for free those who’ve been on strict quarantine because they’re going to listen to

a speech, then all the more we should test exposed individuals who are going home to their loved

ones,” saad pa ni Recto.

Malaking tulong din umano sa local governments na sasalubong sa mga kababayan nito na ligtas sa

sakit at walang pangambang may dala pa itong virus.

“It will be a great sigh of relief for them if the returnees carry the health clearance that matters.

Kung ngayon, bawal mag-transport ng baboy dahil sa ASF at kailangan may certificate na ligtas ang

mga ito, tao pa kaya?” tanong pa ni Recto. (NOEL ABUEL)
