“WITH absolute certainty, the bind that keeps the mutual trust and respect between myself and Mayor Inday Sara remains unsoiled. And it will remain so,” ito ang iginiit nitong Martes ni presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. bilang tugon sa mga kumakalat na maling balita na layuning pagwatak-watakin ang UniTeam.

“Our commitment to each other and the entire UniTeam is unconditional and stronger than ever. It is unbreakable,” dagdag ni Marcos patungkol sa tumitibay nilang samahan at tambalan ni Mayor Sara Duterte.

Nagbabala si Marcos sa kanyang mga taga-suporta na maging mapanuri sa mga malisyoso at “fake news” na ipinakakalat ng mga kalaban sa pulitika para umano pag-awayin sila ng kanyang running-mate.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Marcos na ang pagpapakalat ng fake news ay desperadong tangka ng ilang grupo “to sow discord among BBM-Sara alliances and break up his partnership with Mayor Sara.”

“And while I believe that attempts to put a wedge between my strong partnership with Mayor Sara will persist as the election gets closer, I am also calling on all our supporters to be vigilant in guarding the hard-earned trust and harmony among us,” pahayag ni Marcos.

Naglabas ng reaksyon si Marcos ukol sa kumakalat na maling balita na sikreto umano silang nakikipagpulong sa kampo ni Sen. Tito Sotto at isa pang imbentong ulat mula sa isang social media site na suportado umano ng kanyang asawa si Sotto sa pagka-bise presidente.

“And it will remain so. I am calling on my supporters worldwide to be discerning about these pieces of disinformation as they’re but figments of the imagination of those who have lost hope in a fair and honest election,” dagdag pa niya.

Sa loob ng ilang buwan, nananatiling nangunguna at tila selyado na ang pagkapanalo ni Marcos sa lahat ng mga respetadong survey at iba pang informal survey tulad ng Kalye survey.

Naniniwala si Marcos na habang papalapit ang halalan ay magpapatuloy pa ang mga desperadong galaw at paninira ng kanyang mga kalaban sa pulitika para hadlangan ang napipinto nilang panalo.

“Desperate politicians are on the move to sow discord among members of the BBM-Sara alliances with clear intent to weaken, if not break, my partnership with Mayor Sara,” ani Marcos.

Tiwala naman si Marcos na sa bandang huli ay mananaig ang kabutihan laban sa kasamaan at sila ni Sara ay hindi bibitawan ng mga taga-suporta na solidong naniniwala sa kanila.

“With the faith and loyalty of our supporters to the UniTeam and their dedication to its goal, I am certain that we shall survive these fake news and other distasteful political challenges to enable us to collectively push our firm resolve to unify the country and give our fellowmen the future that they deserve,” sinabi ni Marcos.
