Corollary to this, Atty. Alex Lopez has practiced law for two years. In 1986, Atty. Alex Lopez was the Executive Director of the Fund Raising Campaign for the PLM Chapel and a Political Science Professor at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) in 1986. From 1986 until 1992, he as well served as the Mayor of Manila’s private secretary, and was in charge of persuading the City to give the construction of more than 2000 school rooms throughout the city top priority. Alex is the founding chairman of Concrete Masters Inc., South Pacific Asphalt Mix, and New Sea and Land Realty Dev’t Inc. Company. Because of his hardwork and dedication to work hard, patiently wait for good times and overcome every struggle and challenges, for his family and to help others, he became the Chairman of the highest license company given to construction firms which is the great and excellent “Quadruple A Construction Company”. Thus, he is also known for its greatness in terms of political experience. Corollary to this, he was a former professor in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, former Private Secretary and Assistant to former Mayor Mel Lopez. He has also assisted in the passage of Parliamentary Bill I which dissolved the MMC and reinstated the city councils of all Metro Manila cities.
Furthermore, he is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Concrete Products Inc. in which, the company, had a 1.5 million dollar beginning capitalisation, was the 1,726th largest corporation in the Philippines in 1997. Pacific Concrete Products Inc. attained the highest accreditation from the PCAB in 2022, earning the title of Quadruple A (“AAAA”) Construction firm. The Bonifacio Global City and SM Mall of Asia Road Networks, SCTEX, TPLEX, CLEX, NAIA 1 to 4 and PAL Terminal Runways are just a few of our noteworthy projects.
Atty. Alex, as well as served as campaign manager for different parties like LABAN at UNIDO, either presidential or national elections. He is also a trustee in Honorio Lopez Technical Institute who has helped a lot of graduates and students.
Having this, Atty. Alex Lopez was unanimously recognized as an ADOPTED SON OF EASTERN SAMAR by the Provincial Board and concurred by Eastern Samar Governor Clotilde Japson-Salazar and Congressman Marcelino Libanan while serving as President and CEO of Pacific Concrete Products, Inc., which successfully completed significant road construction and infrastructure works in the province. The Eastern Samarenos and its leaders have the utmost respect for Lopez, according to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan’s Resolution No. 148 Series of 2002, “…for his willingness and genuine desire to assist the Province flourish as President and CEO of Pacific Concrete Products, Inc.”
More so, Atty. Alex Lopez is a builder and developer. Long story short, he was one of the developers. He has also made power plants, roads, bridges, airports and water treatment plants. He had given 2300 students in Honorio Technical Institute scholarship grants and as well as hundreds of scholarships to Lyceum University.
Under his direction, Pacific Concrete Products has won the Safest Quarry Operation Award in the Philippines for four years in a row, from (a) 2000 to 2001 to (b) 2001 to 2002 to (c) 2002 to 2003 to (d) 2003 to 2004. This award is given by the Philippines Mine Safety and Environment Association and Miner and Geosciences Bureau of the Philippines. Pacific Concrete Products Inc. has been classified as a “AAAA” construction business as of 2021.
