KASABAY ng pagdiriwang ng mundo sa International Customs Day, nagpaabot si Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu District Collector Atty. Ricardo Uy Morales II, CESE, ng kanyang mainit na pagbati at pinagtibay ang port’s commitment sa tema ngayong taong selebrasyon, “Customs Enga­ging Traditional and New Partners with Purpose”.

Binigyang-diin ang ang dedikasyon ng port sa pangangalaga sa ligtas at maunlad na trade environment, ini-highlight ni District Collector Atty. Morales ang kahalagahan ng kolaboras­yon, kapwa sa tradisyunal at bagong partners.

“In alignment with this year’s theme, the Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu is actively engaged in strengthening existing alliances while forging new partnerships. Our focus is not only on implementing innovative strategies and adhering to international standards but also on building a purpose-driven community that spans beyond our traditional borders,” pahayag ni District Collector Atty. Morales.

Ang Port of Cebu ay gu­maganap ng mahalagang papel sa global trade network, at sa International Customs Day, muling inihayag ng Port of Cebu ang kanilang pangako na mapagbuti ang mahalagang koneksyon na ito.

Dagdag ni District Collector Atty. Morales, “Today, we recommit to our noble profession with a renewed focus on purposeful engagement. By working together, learning from each other, and supporting one another, we can navigate the complexities of modern customs operations while preparing for future innovations.”

Sa ilalim ng liderato ni District Collector Atty. Ricardo Uy Morales II, CESE, at sa patnubay mula kay Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, ang Port of Cebu ay nananatili sa kanilang dedikasyon sa kanilang papel bilang facilitator ng lawful trade at protektor laban sa illegal activities.

Sa pamamagitan purposeful engagement and collaborative efforts, ang Port of Cebu ay naglalayong makabuluhang makapagbahagi para sa higit na mabisa, ligtas at umuunlad na global trade environment.
