KRGL MEMBER NASAKOTE NG ARMY JTG 7-2

ISANG most wanted member ng dismantled Komiteng Rehiyon Gitnang Luzon (DKRGL) at ng nabuwag na Komiteng Larangang Gerilya Tarlac Zambales, ang nadakip sa isinagawang joint law enforcement operation ng Northern Luzon Command-Joint Task Group 7-2, na nasundan ng pagkakadiskubre sa itinatagong mga sandata ng New People’s Army.

Kinilala ni Joint Task Group (JTG) 7-2 commander, Brigadier General Eugenio Julio C. Osias IV, Philippine Army, at kasalukuyang pinuno ng 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade, ang nadakip na si Marlene V. Espiritu @Cecile, ng nabuwag na KRGL at secretary ng dismantled Komiteng Larangang Gerilya TarZam.

Ayon kay BGen. Osias, sa kasagsagan ng paggunita ng Undas o All Saints Day ay trinabaho nila si @Cecile na may limang active warrants of arrest at nadakip sa joint law enforcement operation sa McArthur Highway, Barangay Tabun, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Magkatuwang sa nasabing joint operation ang mga elemento ng 703rd Infantry Brigade, 70th Infantry Battalion, 91st Infantry Battalion, 84th Infantry Battalion na pawang nasa ilalim ng 7th Infantry Division, 80th Infantry Battalion sa ilalim ng 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Armor Division, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group–National Capital Region, Mabalacat City Police Station, at Police Regional Office 3.

Agad na ibinigay ng Philippine Army ang suspek sa kustodiya ng CIDG-NCR na pinamumunuan ni Col. John Guiagui sa Camp Crame, Quezon City, para sa proper documentation and disposition.

Kinabukasan, All Souls Day ay sunod nilang hinanap ang mga nakatagong armas ng Komiteng Larangang Gerilya (KLG) Narciso sa Sitio Macaingalan, Barangay Puray, Rodriguez, Rizal.

Nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division sa pangunguna ng 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade, sa direktiba ng commander, JTG 7-2, katuwang ang 80th Infantry Battalion sa ilalim ng 2nd Infantry Division, mula sa suspek ang dalawang M653 rifles (Serial Nos. L923413 and SER063193); dalawang M16A1 rifles (Serial Nos. RP164013 and 293180); dalawang Cal. .45 pistols with three (3) magazines; walong long at 12 short magazines para M16 rifles; at 205 rounds ng 5.56mm ammunition.

Ayon pa kay Brig. Gen. Osias IV, “This accomplishment is a testament to the strong synergy between our intelligence and combat units, as well as the vital support of the local populace. It sends a clear message that the Philippine Army remains firm in preventing the resurgence of communist terrorism and in safeguarding our communities from threats of violence,” dagdag pa ni Brig. Gen. Osias IV.
