PINAALALAHANAN ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang mga transportation company at operator na tanging palabas na may content na rated ‘G’ (General Patronage) at ‘PG’ (Parental Guidance) ang pinapayagan ipalabas sa loob ng public utility vehicles (PUVs).

Sa isang kalatas nitong Lunes, sinabi ng MTRCB na ang polisiyang ito ay ipinag-uutos sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular No. 03-2024 na nag-uuri sa ‘common carriers’ bilang ‘movie theaters’ para sa regulatory purposes.

“This ensures that content remains appropriate and has no negative impact on minors traveling with their families,” ang sinabi pa rin ng MTRCB.

Nanawagan naman ito sa mga pasahero na kaagad i-report ang mga paglabag sa pamamagitan ng MTRCB official social media channels @MTRCBGov o via e-mail at complaints@mtrcb.gov.ph.

“Legal action will be taken against violators in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1986 and Chapter XIII of the 2004 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations,” ayon sa MTRCB.
