DAPAT na maging opsyonal ang pagsusuot ng face mask sa outdoor settings.
Sinabi ni presidential adviser for entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion, nais niyang mag-exit o lumabas na ang Pilipinas sa “state of public health emergency.
“I think wearing of face masks outdoors should now be optional, but it should remain mandatory in indoor situations especially in public transport,” ayon kay Concepcion.
Naniniwala si Concepcion na ang mamamayang Pilipino ay makagagawa na ng “informed decisions” para protektahan ang kanilang mga sarili mula sa virus.
Sa kanyang suhestiyon, itinutulak ni Concepcion na mabawi na ang state of public health emergency “to promote confidence among the population” kasunod ng naging hakbang ng Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention na ilagay ang bansa sa ilalim ng pinakamababang travel-risk warning classification.
“It would be just the right time as all over the world, economies are starting to resume normal activity,” ayon kay Concepcion.
“We should focus on job creation, opening up all areas, resuming in-person classes, and encouraging people to go back to work,” dagdag na pahayag nito.
