UGNAYAN NG BOC PORT OF CEBU, STAKEHOLDERS PINALALAKAS

PORT OF CEBU-2

Upang lalo pang mapataas ang koleksyon ng Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu, pinalakas ng pamunuan nito ang ugnayan sa stakeholders sa Visayas.

Isang diyalogo ang isinagawa noong Oktubre 29 sa Cebu City na kung saan dinaIuhan ito ng 40 importers at customs brokers na nakikipag-transact sa Port of Cebu, Port of Tacloban at Port of Iloilo.

Partikular na tinalakay sa nasabing okasyon ay ang ‘parcel tracking system, accreditation system and the National Value Verification System’  na ipinaliwanag ni Atty. Jenny Diokno ng Container Control Unit, Lysander G. Baviera ng Account Management Office at Atty. Christopher Inducil ng Import and Assessment Service.

Sa diyalogo, nilinaw ang  regulasyon at proseso upang sa gayon magiging maayos ang ugnayan ng Bureau at kanilang stakeholders.

“Remember, that what we at Customs are mandated to do- maintain balance of trade facilitation and security- is so that you, in the business of international trade, have a fair and safe economic ground to do business. So let this dialogue be a conversation of partners. Contributing partners for improved trade facilitation. Contributing partners for customs reforms mobilization”, paliwanag ni   District Collector Atty. Charlito Martin R. Mendoza sa kanyang opening remarks. (Boy Anacta)
