MAGKAKAALAMAN kung alin team ang pinakamagaling sa ilulunsad ng Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas na Champions League, tampok ang apat na amateur at professional basketball leagues – Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), National Basketball League (NBL), Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) at VisMin Pilipinas Super Cup.
“We all love the sports. And I’m happy and proud working on the same vision and mission with the organizers of this respectable four leagues,” pahayag ni Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas president Ronald Mascariñas. “This One Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas is a platform for our talented homegrown players on their quest for basketball excellence.”
Naniniwala si Mascarinas na dapat ipagpatuloy ang inobasyon sa sport para sa kapakinabangan ng basketball players at maging ng fans.
“We have to continue to innovate for the basketball fans. Hindi puwedeng mag-focus lang tayo sa isang option. Mas maraming option mas makabubuti sa ating mga players bukod sa dagdag na trabaho para sa mga sports personnel and technical people,” paliwanag niya.
“From collegiate, homegrown-based and regional-based players. Mas maraming talento ang makikita ng sambayanan,” dagdag ni Mascariñas.
Batay sa konsepto ng Champions League, awtomatikong pasok ang top six teams ng apat na liga.
Samantala, bukas ang nalalabing slots nito sa iba pang liga, maging sa Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
“Parang March Madness ito sa US NCAA. Laban-laban ang top teams. This is open to the public, walang restriction. Kahit ang PBA we will invite them to join,” excited na sabi ni Mascariñas.
