“Everything is a learning process pa rin. You just have to keep on learning and learning. We really have to maximize our players para mas lumalim ang cohesiveness namin,” komento ni Ateneo coach Oliver Almadro. “We know naman na our team is basically young, mostly are sophomores and freshmen so kailangan naming magkaroon talaga ng tiwala sa isa’t isa. Talagang every game and every practices are a learning day for us.”
Nangailangan naman ang three-time NCAA champions Lady Chiefs ng ekstrang set para talunin ang Lyceum of the Philippines University, 25-23, 12-25, 25-21, 25-21, para sa kanilang back-to-back wins sa Group B.
Kulang sa tao ang Arellano U bunga ng mga injury nina top hitter Regine Arocha (ankle injury), Carla Donato (hand injury), Jehan Hussain (knee injury) at backup setter Donnalyn Paralejas (allergy).
Wagi rin ang Adamson University Lady Falcons laban sa University of Perpetual Lady Altas, 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.
