“That will be the first public appearance of PRRD to endorse the candidacy of PDP-Laban,” ayon kay Cabinet Secretary and PDP-Laban secretary general Melvin Matibag.

Aniya ang event ay gaganapin sa Lapu-Lapu City sa Cebu, itinuturing na “the most vote-rich province” base sa data ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).

“We are planning probably more or less 24 more areas that the President will appear to endorse the senatorial candidates of PDP-Laban and also those candidates who are being endorsed and adopted by PDP-Laban, and the local candidates as well,” dagdag na pahayag ni Matibag.

Noong nakaraang linggo, pormal na inendorso ng PDP-Laban faction na pinangungunahan ni Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi at suportado ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang kandidatura ni presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., dalawang buwan matapos na ianunsyo nito ang pagsuporta sa kanyang running mate na si presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
