IBINUNYAG ni Senador Richard Gordon na nagsinungaling si Atty. Daryl Ritchie Valles, legal counsel ng Pharmally Pharmaceuticals Corporation executives na sina Mohit at Twinkle Dargani kaugnay sa kanyang koneksyon sa Malakanyang.
Sinabi ni Gordon, Chairman ng Blue Ribbon Committee na nagpaalam si Valles upang mabisita ang Dargani siblings noong Martes, November 16.
“Before he was allowed entry, we looked into who he was and we found out that per Office of the President directory, he is a Director IV at the Office of the Special Assistant to the President, the position then occupied by Senator Bong Go. He denied being from Malacañang though he admitted he was from Davao,” saad ni Gordon.
Idinagdag pa ng senador na bago umalis si Valles sa Senado, tinanong pa ng Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) ang abogado kung siya rin ang taong konektado sa Malakanyang.
Sinabi ni Valles na dati siyang konektado sa Malakanyang subalit nagresign na siya sa kanyang pwesto simula noong Pebrero.
“We do not understand why there was a need for the subterfuge, why there was a need to hide an important fact. Here, the attempt to hide a fact raises more questions as a result,” giit ni Gordon.
“The Darganis are entitled to counsel. That is a right we intend to always honor. They can hire whichever lawyer their money can buy,” dagdag pa ng senador. (DANG SAMSON-GARCIA)
