MAGKAKAROON ng karagdagang access sa libreng technical and vocational education ang mga Navoteño matapos pasinayaan ang Navotas Vocational Training and Assessment (NAVOTAAS) Institute bilang bagong Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) satellite office at training center sa Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela (CAMANAVA) area.
“It may take a while for our economy to fully recover, but it is prudent to keep our people ready and equipped with new and multiple skills.
Their education and training can boost their chances of landing jobs and other livelihood opportunities in the future,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.
Ang TESDA-NAVOTAAS Training Center ay inaasahang magpapabilis ng facilitation ng certification ng overseas Filipino workers papuntang ibayong dagat.
Ang training center ay nag-aalok ng karagdagang tech-voc courses sa 2D Animation, Advance Microsoft Excel Training, Computer System Servicing, Cyber Security, Driving, Solar Powered Lighting at Mobile Phone Charging Kit Training.
Noong nakaraang taon, ang Navotas at TESDA ay lumagda sa memorandum of agreement na nagbibigay ng karapatan sa huli sa paggamit ng second, third at fourth floors ng NAVOTAAS Institute-Main sa loob ng limang taon.

Isidro Lapeña, kasama si Deputy Director General, Lina Sarmiento; Regional Director, Florencio Sunico Jr.; District Director, Rolando Dela Torre; NAVOTAAS Institute Head, Kathryn Anne Hilario; at Vice Mayor Clint Geronimo ang ribbon cutting at unveiling of marker.
