NAG-DEPLOY ang Armed Forces of the Philippine Elite Light Reaction Company sa Negros Oriental.

Sa isinagawang pulong balitaan nitong Biyernes sa Department of National Defense, kinumpirma ni DND Officer In-Charge Senior Under Secretary Carlito Galvez, may 50 man Light Reaction Team mula Cotabato na pawang Marawi Siege veterans, ang idineploy sa lalawigan ng Negros Oriental.

Bukod pa rito ang pagbuo ng Joint Special Task Force na kinabibilangan ng dalawang brigade at anim na battalion na layuning hanapin ang nalalabing mga suspek sa pagpatay kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo at walong iba pa noong nakaraang Sabado,

Kinumpirma rin ni AFP chief of Staff General Andres Centino na inalerto nila ang anim na battalion mula sa Negros Oriental at Occidental para sa mabilis na mobilisasyon sakaling may biglaang pangangailangan.

“The president has ordered the creation of a joint task force in order to suppress all forms of lawless violence and restore peace and order in Negros Island as soon as possible. This joint Task Force Negros shall be composed of AFP units based in the area and augmented by troops from outside of Negros,” pahayag ni Gen. Centino

Paliwanag ni Sec. Galvez, inutusan siya ni Pangulong Ferdinand Bongbong R. Marcos Jr., na ibalik ang normalcy sa lalawigan, tiyakin na ang peace and order upang makampante ang taong bayan at dakpin ang nalalabing mga suspek sa Degamo slay case.

Marcos Jr. gave his instruction to me last night to suppress the criminal activities and impunity in the entire island of Negros and to give justice to the families and loved ones of those who were slain in the assassination of Gov.
