PINANGUNAHAN ni Navotas Congressman John Rey Tiangco, kasama si Rolando Dela Torre, District Director ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-CAMANAVA) ang pamamahagi ng tool kits sa Navoteño tech-voc graduates kamakailan.
Umabot sa 48 pumasa sa Bread Making Leading to Bread and Pastry Production NC II ang tumanggap ng oven and baking tools gaya ng ng digital weighing scale, mixing bowl, at measuring cup and spoon sa ilalim ng Special Training for Employment Program.
Ang ipinamahaging tool kits ay may halagang P5,000 bawat isa.
Ang mga benepisyaryo ay nagsanay at nakumpleto ang kanilang kurso noong Disyembre 2021 sa Horizons Institute of Technology, isang partner na technical and vocational education and training institute ng Navotas Vocational Training and Assessment (NAVOTAAS) Institute.
“Aside from the free courses offered at NAVOTAAS Institute, we teamed up with other tech-voc centers in neighboring cities so that Navoteños will have access to more courses and learning opportunities,” ani Tiangco.
“We hope that by providing them with quality skills training and scholarship benefits, including allowances and tool kits, they will be more eager to pursue their dream careers and businesses,” anang mambabatas.
Bago ito, nakatanggap ang mga graduate ng halagang P2,600 training support fund, at internet at personal protective equipment allowance.
Dumalo rin sa seremonya sina Michael Caisip, Technical Education and Skills Development Specialist II ng TESDA CAMANAVA, Leslie Borromeo at Heidi Ramos, Marketing Manager at Registrar ng Horizons Institute of Technology, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
Mula Enero ngayong taon, 350 ang nagsipagtapos sa NAVOTAAS Institute. (ALAIN AJERO)
