HOPE ni GUILLER VALENCIA
THE EDSA People Power Revolution was historic, it occurred from February 22 to 25, 1986. This non-violent uprising in the Philippines that ousted Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and restored democracy from dictatorship, was praised by different countries.
People power was joined by different people coming from religious sectors, businesses, academics, military, government employees, politicians, peasants, youth, teachers, and laborers. In other words, all sectors of our societies. Foreigners are amazed and some say it’s a miracle!
Good governance ‘ika nga! New leaders and new system are coming!
Oseas 4:6, which states: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” The people of Israel faced dire consequences dahil sa ignorance and rejection of God’s laws and teachings.
He has the ability to create, sustain, and control all things. His power is demonstrated through miracles; parting the Red Sea and raising Jesus from the dead. God has a power to intervene in human affairs to accomplish his purposes.
Trust God with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding in all the ways, acknowledge him and he will direct our paths, Proverbs 3:5. Finally, let us trust and receive the true power of our Lord Jesus and real power and changes will be with us. (giv777@myyahoo.com)
