MAYROON nang 8 health facilities ang Pilipinas na may kakayahan na magsagawa ng COVID-19 tests.
Sinabi ni Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles na ang 8 health facilities ay ang Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center, San Lazaro Hospital, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Southern Philippines Medical Center, University of the Philippines-National Institutes of Health, Western Visayas Medical Center at Lung Center of the Philippines.
“At this point, we cannot overemphasize how important it is for our health professionals and workers to properly identify and treat not just those who have been infected, but potential carriers of the virus as well,” ayon kay CabSec Nograles.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang Pilipinas ay mayroong naitalang 2,633 COVID-19 cases na may kabuuang 107 pumanaw at 51 ang naka-recover.
Nauna rito, inanunsyo naman ni Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer ng national action policy laban sa COVID-19, na sisimulan na ng gobyerno ang mass testing sa suspected cases sa darating na Abril 14. CHRISTIAN DALE
