“As per the November 4, 2020 6AM report” ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), mahigit sa P18.2-M assistance ang naibigay sa mga apektadong lugar sa NCR, Regions II, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region V, Region VIII, at CAR ng DSWD, local government units at iba pang non-government organizations (NGOs).

Tinatayang, may 188,417 indibidwal ang nasa loob ng evacuation centers.

Ang Department of Health, sa kabilang dako ay nagbigay ng P540,440.00 halaga ng hygiene kits at collapsible water drinking containers at P402,741.20 halaga ng medisina para sa alokasyon ng local government units, “as of November 4, 2020, 8AM.”

Ang Department of Energy sa kabilang dako ay nagpakilos ng Task Force Kapatid na mayroong Region 8 Electric Cooperatives-Task Force Kapatid and Task Force Kapatid Isabela Electric Cooperative 2 (ISELCO) patungong Bicol Region at Marinduque kaninang umaga para i-assess ang sitwasyon at tulungan ang pagbabalik ng suplay ng kuryente.

Samantala, ang lahat ng airports at seaports ay bukas na ayon na rin sa naging pahayag ng Department of Transportation.

Tinatayang 60 tonelada ng relief goods at supplies ang isasakay sa BRP Gabriela Silang ng Philippine Coast Guard na inaasahan darating sa Virac, Catanduanes bukas.

Naayos at nalinis naman ng Department of Public Works and Highways ang 26 road sections, “as of November 4, 2020.”

“All hands are indeed on deck as we mobilize our resources to assist those greatly affected by the typhoon. We ask the public to help in any way they can and demonstrate the Filipino bayanihan spirit in this time of need,” ang pahayag ni Sec. Roque. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
