HINDI magdadalawang-isip si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte na sibakin sa puwesto ang mga opisyal ng pamahalaan na sinuspinde ng Tanggapan ng Ombudsman.
Binalaan ng pangulo ang mga suspended government officials na huwag nang gumawa ng panibago pang kasalanan kahit ito’y simpleng ‘neglect of duty’ dahil siguradong sibak sila sa puwesto.
‘Next time, I will dismiss you from the service. All of you who are suspended, the next time you have [a case] of even simple neglect of duty or whatever, if it falls as a ground for dismissal, I will have you removed,” ayon sa pangulo.
“Do not ever think you are indispensable,” dagdag na pahayag nito.
Ipinaalala pa ng Pangulo sa mga suspendidong opisyal ng gobyerno na napakaraming Pilipino na nakapagtapos ang “competent and honest” na hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay walang trabaho.
“So, all of you in government, take care of your position. Do not allow even a dent of [an] anomaly.”
