MAGLULUNSAD ng makukulay na commemorative “Year of the Tiger” stamps ang Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost) bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year 2022, sa Seascape Village, sa Pasay City.

“We wish the Chinese community peace, prosperity and love,” ayon kay Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio.

“This event will also give us an opportunity to both Chinese-Filipinos and Filipinos in the country to enjoy and appreciate this celebration in a simple ceremony. I understand that some of the festivities in Manila were postponed for the second time this year due to the threat of the coronavirus,” pahayag ni Fulgencio.

Ang stamps, souvenir sheets at official first day covers ng “New Year 2022: Year of the Tiger Stamps” ay magiging available sa Philatelic Counter, Manila Central Post Office sa Liwasang Bonifacio.

Ang mga nais bumili nito ay maaari ring magtungo sa Seascape Village sa mismong launching ceremony nito.
Ang Chinese Lunar New Year ay ipinagdiriwang ngayong Pebrero 1 at isa sa pinakamahalagang holiday ng taon sa maraming Asian communities sa mundo. (RENE CRISOSTOMO)
