Ayon kay Lieutenant General Arnulfo Marcelo Burgos Jr., commander ng Northern Luzon Command, “the defenders of the North are committed to break gender stereotypes and that gender equality is an important element of a sound organization”.
“I am happy to note that the female officers and personnel of Northern Luzon Command have effectively adjusted to their changing roles in our organization, not even the on-going pandemic affected their performance as a valuable human resource in their respective offices and units.”
Kinilala ng heneral ang napakahalagang ambag ng kanilang female officers and personnel bilang medical frontliners, intelligence analyst, gayundin ang administrative and operational support personnel.
“As a Commander, I can attest the valuable contributions of our female officers and personnel as they took an active role in mitigating the effects of the on-going pandemic as well as to NOLCOM’s internal security and territorial defense operations.”
“The contributions of women cannot be downplayed, as they proved to be trailblazers of change in our organization,” ani Gen. Burgos. (JESSE KABEL)
