IPINADEDEKLARA ng isang mambabatas sa Kamara bilang persona non grata ang dating chief of staff ni Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Leonardo Guerrero na si Atty. Teodoro Jumamil sa lahat ng pasilidad ng BOC upang hindi na ito maka-impluwensya pa.

“To ensure that all illegal transactions that Jumamil allegedly facilitated when he was with the Bureau of Customs is completely stopped, and for the Office of the Ombudsman be given the free hand to investigate the allegations against him by no less than President Duterte, I believe that Commissioner Guerrero should declare Jumamil a persona non grata,” ani PBA party-list Rep. Nograles.

Ginawa ng mambabatas ang nasabing mungkahi matapos banatan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Jumamil dahil sa pagiging corrupt at balasubas umano nito sa bureau.

“This very grave allegation by no less than the President must be taken seriously.

Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo ‘Jagger’ Guerrero should take immediate action or he too will become a suspect.

He should immediately declare Jumamil persona non grata and should not be allowed to enter any Customs facility pending the investigation,” dagdag pa ni Nograles.

Isang simpleng memo lang ang dapat aniyang ilabas ni Guerrero sa lahat ng port operators at brokers sa bansa namagbibigay babala sa mga ito na huwag makipagtransaksyon kay Jumamil. (BERNARD TAGUINOD)
