NASA 17 establishimento kabilang ang 5-star hotel na Sofitel at maging ang tanyag na Philippine International Convention Center(PICC) ang inisyuhan ng violation notice ng Laguna Lake Development Authority(LLDA) kaugnay pa rin ng ginagawang Manila Bay Clean Up.
Ayon kay LLDA General Manager Joey Medina, inisyuhan ng Cease and Desist Order ang Makchang Korean Restaurant, Legend Seafood Restaurant at Networld Hotel.
Notice of violation ang ibinigay naman sa Harbour View Square, China Oceanis Inc Philippines – Manila Ocean Park, SM Breeze Residences, Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Philippine International Convention Center, Midas Hotel and Casino, Carwash by Benjas, Sogo Hotel at Harrison Mansion.
Samantala ex parte order naman ang inisyu ng LLDA sa Andres Public Market, Malate Royale Development Corp – Malate Crown Plaza Condominium, Center for International Trade Exposition Center, Metroescapes Corp – Seascape Village at Antel Seaview Towers Condominium na binigyan ng 15 araw para ipaliwanag ang naging pollution violation.
Sinabi ni Medina makakapag operate pa rin ang nasabing mga establishimento ngunit ang inisyuhan ng CDO ay isinarado ang kanilang waste water facility.
Ang naging paglabag umano ng nasabing mga establishimento na batayan ng naging kautusan ay paglabag sa RA 8749 o Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999, RA 6969 o Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act at may pag ooperate ng walang environmental compliance certificates na paglabag sa Presidential Decree 1586 o Environmental Impact Statement System.
