PASOK sa kasong sedition ng Department of Justice si dating Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV at sampung iba pang miyembro ng oposisyon.
Na-indict ng DOJ sina Trillanes, Peter Joemel Advincula, alyas “Bikoy,” dismissed police official Eduardo Acierto, at Fr. Albert Alejo sa kasong “conspiracy to commit sedition” sa ilalim ng Article 141 ng Revised Penal Code.
Na-indict din sina Jonnel Sangalang, Yolanda Villuaneva Ong, Fr. Flaviano Villanueva, Vicente Romano III, Joel Saracho, Boom Enriquez, at isang alyas “Monique.”
Abswelto naman ang iba pang personalidad kabilang ang ilang abogado at mga paring Katoliko.
Lahat naman ng respondents ay abswelto sa kasong sedition, inciting to sedition, cyberlibel, libel, estafa at obstruction of justice.
“In finding no probable cause for sedition or inciting to sedition, the Panel found the element of public and tumultuous uprising wanting,” sinabi ng DOJ.
“It further explained that while the video series ‘contains libelous imputations against President Duterte and his family which tend to create hatred or revenge against them,’ nonetheless no words were uttered which tended to incite the people to take up arms or rise against the government,” dagdag ng DOJ.
Naghain ng kaso ang Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group laban sa mga respondent base sa alegasyon ni Advincula na pasok sila sa “Project Sodoma,” na planong patalsikin si Pangulong Duterte at iluklok si Vice President Leni Robredo.
Naglabas pa ng “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos ang mga nabanggit na nagdadawit kina Duterte at Sen. Bong Go sa droga. Bagay na pinasinungalingan ng dalawa. KIKO CUETO
