(NI CHRISTIAN  DALE) NAKA-ALERTO ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) sa posibilidad ng forest fires sa gitna ng El Niño phenomenon sa bansa. Sinabi ni Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu na ipinag-utos na niya sa 16 na executive director ng DENR Regional Offices na magsagawa ng malawakang pagsusuri sa mga gubat upang maiwasan ang wild fires at grass fires.
