AGAD tumalima ang National Bureau of Investigation sa kautusan ng Manila Regional Trial Court na ilipat si dating Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo ‘Arnie’ Teves Jr., ng kustodiya mula sa NBI Detention Facility sa Bureau of Correction.

Si ex-Congressman Tevez ay kasalukuyan nang nakadetine sa Camp Bagong Diwa.   Mula Building 14 ng NBI detention facility sa Muntinlupa City, dinala ito sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology o BJMP Metro Manila District Jail Annex 2 compound ng Camp Bagong Diwa sa lungsod ng Taguig.

Isinagawa ang naturang paglilipat ng kustodiya matapos mag-isyu ang Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 51 ng ‘commitment order’ na siyang nag-atas sa NBI na tumalima.

Magugunitang naghain ng mosyon ang kampo ni dating Negros Oriental Representative Arnie Teves Jr., upang hindi na ito mailipat ng kulungan ngunit ibinasura ng korte.

Kaya’t natuloy pa rin itong dalhin sa ibang kulungan kaugnay ng kanyang kinahaharap pang mga kaso tulad ng pagpatay, illegal possession of firearms and explosives.

Ang naturang korte na nag-utos na ilipat ito ay ang Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 51 na siya namang may hawak sa kasong kaugnay ng madugong pagpaslang kay former Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo at siyam na iba pa.

“Considering that the Regional Trial Court’s Branch 12 and 51 have already issued commitment orders, the AD for Intelligence and the NBI-SMD Detention Cell Facility Chief are directed to immediately commit the person of Former Congressman Arnolfo A. Teves to the SICA (now Metro Manila District Jail),” ani Dir. Jimmy Santiago.
