Pormal nang nanumpa ang 94 bagong tanggap at promoted na empleyado ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) kay Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero nitong nakaraang Setyembre 2, 2019 sa OCOM Ground, BOC Compound, Gate 3, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila.
Ang nasabing bago at promoted na empleyado ng ahensya ay bahagi pa rin ng Bureau of Customs ‘10-Point Priority Program’ nito.
Kabilang sa mga posisyon na nilagyan ay ang 41 Administrative Aid; 5 Assistant Customs Operations Officer; 6 Computer Operator II; 1 Computer File Librarian III; 12 Customs Operations Officer I; 3 Customs Operations Officer II; 2 Computer Operator IV; 2 Computer Maintenance Technologist II; 1 Information Systems Analyst II; 15 Customs Operations Officer III; 5 Information Technology Officer I; at 1 Information Technology Officer III.
Ang mga bagong tanggap at promoted na empleyado ay pinapunta sa Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) upang tanggapin ang kani-kanilang notices of appointment at kunin ang listahan ng requirements na may kaugnayan sa kanilang appointment papers base na rin sa itinakda ng Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Kasabay nito, pinaalalahanan ang mga ito na sumunod sa probisyon na nakasaad sa CSC Memorandum Circular No. 24, Series of 2017 (2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions).
“If the appointee has taken his/her oath office and assumed the duties of the position, he/she shall be entitled to receive his/her salary from at once without awaiting the approval/validation of his/her appointment by the Commission,” base pa sa HRMD memorandum.
Dagdag pa sa memorandum, “An appointment issued by the appointing officer/authority may be cancelled if the appointee does not assume office or report to duty within 30 calendar days receipt of the written notice of the appointment.” (Jo Calim)
